Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Next Stager ("we", "us") provides AI-powered coaching to organizations and their people. Coaching only works when people can speak candidly, so the Service is built privacy-first: your individual coaching conversations are never shown to your employer. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — name, work email, job title, department, and your organization.
• Coaching content — the conversations, assessment responses, goals, and growth plans you create in the Service.
• Usage information — session counts, feature usage, and activity timestamps.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive subscription status and billing contact details; we never store full payment card numbers.
• Demo requests — name, email, phone, and company details you submit when requesting a demo.

3. How we use information

• To provide the Service — your coaching content is sent to our AI model providers to generate coaching responses, assessments, and plans. Our providers are contractually restricted from using this content other than to provide the service to us.
• To give your organization insight — administrators see aggregated, anonymized trends only (see section 4).
• To operate and improve the Service — debugging, security, support, and product improvement.
• To communicate with you — service emails such as password resets and important account or billing notices.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Privacy by design: what your employer can and cannot see

Organization administrators can see the member roster (name, email, title, department, active status), session counts, and aggregated, anonymized organizational trends such as common coaching themes and readiness distributions.

Administrators cannot see the content of your coaching conversations, your assessment answers, your goals, or your growth plans. These are protected by row-level security and are only visible to you, unless you explicitly choose to share them.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service — cloud hosting and database infrastructure, AI model providers, and Stripe for payments — each bound to use the data only to provide their service to us;
• your organization, limited to the roster and aggregated data described in section 4;
• authorities where required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data).

6. Data retention

We retain your information while your account is active. If your account is deactivated or your organization's subscription ends, we retain data for a limited period in case the account is reactivated, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of your data at any time (section 8).

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, row-level security in our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@nextstager.com — we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Children

The Service is for workplace use and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-app notice) before it takes effect.
